Kling AI’s official Standard membership currently shows a $6.99 first-month offer, followed by an $8.80 monthly renewal. On our Kling4 platform, Mini starts at $29.90 per month for 3,000 credits. Kling4 annual offers start at a displayed $14.90 monthly equivalent, billed annually with credits delivered monthly.
Choose a plan by the model you need, the credit cost of your settings and your expected number of attempts. Official Kling AI membership and Kling4 plans have separate billing and credit systems, so compare the cost of your intended workflow rather than the credit totals alone.
How much does official Kling AI membership cost?
The official membership page displays these US-dollar offers:
| Official plan | First month | Monthly renewal | Annual price | Credits per month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $6.99 | $8.80 | $79.20 | 660 |
| Pro | $25.99 | $32.56 | $293.04 | 3,000 |
| Premier | $64.99 | $80.96 | $728.64 | 8,000 |
| Ultra | $127.99 | $159.99 | $1,429.99 | 26,000 |
The first-month offer is available once. Annual prices are yearly charges, with credits distributed monthly. Annual subscriptions also auto-renew. Check the renewal amount and cancellation settings before subscribing; the final checkout quote includes any applicable taxes or payment fees.
Start with a smaller plan while you learn how many attempts your projects need. A larger allowance makes sense when your production volume justifies it and you can use the credits before they expire.
How many videos can official Kling AI credits generate?
The number of generations depends on the model, duration, resolution and audio options. The official Kling VIDEO 3.0 guide lists these five-second generation costs:
- 720p without native audio: 30 credits
- 1080p with native audio: 60 credits
- 1080p with native audio and voice tone control: 70 credits
At those reference rates, Standard’s 660 credits cover 22 generations at 30 credits each, or 11 at 60 credits each. These are calculated generation counts for the stated settings, before extra attempts or other credit use. They are Kling VIDEO 3.0 examples, not Kling 4.0 generation prices.
Read the displayed quote before submitting a job. Changing the model, clip length, resolution or voice features can change the credit cost.
How much do Kling4 plans and credit packs cost?
Our Kling4 pricing page offers monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions and one-time packs. Monthly Mini includes 3,000 Kling4 credits for $29.90; larger subscriptions provide the following allowances:
| Kling4 plan | Monthly billing | Annual offer monthly equivalent | Calculated annual offer amount | Monthly credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | $29.90 | $14.90 | $178.80 | 3,000 |
| Standard | $59.90 | $29.90 | $358.80 | 6,600 |
| Plus | $119.90 | $59.90 | $718.80 | 14,400 |
| Pro | $199.90 | $99.90 | $1,198.80 | 26,000 |
The annual promotion applies to the first annual payment. Each annual amount above is the displayed monthly equivalent multiplied by 12. Confirm the amount due and renewal price at checkout. Credits arrive monthly, so the yearly allowance is not an immediately available balance.
For occasional projects, the listed one-time packs are:
- Starter: $49.90 for 4,100 credits
- Standard: $99.90 for 10,000 credits
- Professional: $199.90 for 23,000 credits
- Premium: $999 for 150,000 credits
The pack cards state one-year validity. Monthly Mini and the Starter pack currently mark the commercial-use license as unavailable. If you create client work or advertising, check the permissions for the exact plan and billing option you choose.
How many generations do 3,000 Kling4 credits cover?
Our pricing calculator’s baseline is Kling 3.0 at 720p, three seconds, without audio, costing 105 Kling4 credits per generation. At that setting, 3,000 credits cover 28 whole generations, with 60 credits remaining: 28 × 105 = 2,940.
Those are generation attempts, so the number of final clips you keep may be lower. Other settings change the estimate. The official examples above use five-second clips and this Kling4 baseline uses three-second clips; they are not like-for-like clip-cost comparisons.
Should you choose monthly, annual or one-time billing?
| Your situation | Sensible starting point | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| You are learning the workflow | Free access where available, or a smaller monthly plan | Required model and features |
| You create regularly but your volume varies | Monthly subscription | Renewal price and unused-credit expiry |
| You have a predictable year-round workload | Annual subscription | Full yearly charge and monthly credit delivery |
| You have an occasional project | One-time pack | Pack validity and commercial-use permissions |
For Kling4, first confirm your required model and commercial-use permissions. Estimate the credits for your monthly attempts, then choose a plan or pack that covers them. Use annual billing when the full yearly commitment fits a predictable workload; monthly billing gives you a shorter commitment while you establish a realistic budget.
For your first project, follow our Kling AI beginner workflow and start with one focused shot.
How do you budget for attempts and final videos?
Use this planning formula:
Credits needed = credits per generation × attempts per final clip × final clips needed.
For example, at the 105-credit Kling4 baseline, budgeting three attempts for each of ten final clips requires 3,150 credits: 105 × 3 × 10. That is 150 credits above Mini’s 3,000-credit monthly allowance. Three attempts is a planning assumption, not a measured success rate; adjust it to your own results.
To make your attempts more useful, write the subject, action and camera movement clearly. Keep the first test short, review it, then change one thing at a time. Our Kling AI prompt guide gives you a reusable structure for this process.
Record the generation quote, attempts and any separate finishing work. After a project, divide the spend by the clips you actually keep to calculate your effective cost per usable video.
Do credits expire, and are failed generations refunded?
The official membership FAQ currently says monthly credits are valid for 31 days from issuance and purchased credits for two years. Promotional and bonus credits have their own rules.
Kling4 one-time pack cards state one-year validity. For subscription credits, check the expiry recorded in your account; the public FAQ does not promise unrestricted rollover.
Kling4’s pricing FAQ says credits are usually returned or compensated for platform-side technical failures. A completed generation that misses your creative expectations normally counts as completed, so an unwanted result does not automatically qualify for credits back.
Our refund policy says fees are generally non-refundable after payment, subject to applicable law. Cancellation prevents future renewals and does not automatically refund the current billing period. Exceptional refund requests generally must be submitted within 72 hours; approval is not guaranteed, and the policy states an 8% processing fee for special-circumstance refunds.
What about Kling 4 pricing and availability?
Kling AI’s September 30 announcement describes early access and a wider October rollout. Kling 4.0 is expected to become more widely available in October. We plan to make it available on our platform as soon as we can support it.
Check Kling4 model availability and the generator’s model selector before choosing a plan for a specific feature. Confirm the Kling 4.0 credit quote when it is available rather than carrying over a Kling 3.0 estimate.
Frequently asked questions
Is Kling AI free?
The official service has a Basic tier and limited free-credit offers. Check the current allowance and restrictions; paid-plan credit totals do not describe the free tier.
Does annual billing give me all credits immediately?
Official Kling AI membership and Kling4 annual plans describe monthly credit delivery. The yearly payment does not make the full year’s credits available at once.
Can I buy Kling4 credits without a subscription?
Yes. Kling4 lists one-time packs starting at $49.90 for 4,100 credits, with one-year validity. Check the chosen pack’s commercial-use permissions before buying for client work.
Which Kling4 plan should I start with?
Choose the smallest plan that covers your required model, permissions and expected attempts. Monthly Mini’s 3,000 credits cover 28 attempts at the calculator’s Kling 3.0 setting of 720p, three seconds, without audio. At that setting, ten final clips with three attempts each require 3,150 credits, so compare that budget with the available allowances before choosing.
